Select Start > Control Panel > Network Connections. Click on "Change Windows Firewall Settings" located at the left-hand panel.2. If Windows Firewall is On, proceed to Step 3. If Windows Firewall is Off, there is no need for further adjustments to firewall settings.3. Click the Exceptions tab.4. Check Wireless Connecting Utility in the “Programs and Services” list and click OK. Windows Firewall settings are now complete. Adjusting and Viewing Windows Firewall Settings (FTP)1. Select Start > Control Panel > Network Connections. Click on "Change Windows Firewall Settings" located at the left-hand panel.2. If Windows Firewall is On, proceed to Step 3. If Windows Firewall is Off, there is no need for further adjustments to firewall settings.3. Click the Advanced tab.4. Ad-hoc network: If the computer and WT-2 form an ad-hoc network, confirm that the Wireless Network Connection option is checked in the “Network Connection Settings” list, then select Wireless Network Connection and click Settings...Infrastructure network: If the computer is connected to a wireless LAN access point via a LAN cable, confirm that the Local Area Connection option is checked in the “Network Connection Settings” list, then select Local Area Connection and click Settings...5. Check the FTP Server option in the services list.6. If the “Service Settings” dialog is displayed, click OK to exit without changing settings and return to the “Windows Firewall” dialog.Click OK.Windows Firewall settings are now complete. Adjusting and Viewing TCP/IP Filtering Settings1. Select Start > Control Panel. Double-click on Network Connections.2. Right-click Wireless Network Connection (ad-hoc network) or Local Area Connection (infrastructure network) and select Properties.3. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.4. Click Advanced...5. Click the Options tab.6. Select TCP/IP filtering and click Properties.7. If Enable TCP/IP Filtering (All adapters) is not checked or all the Permit All options are selected, there is no need for further adjustments to TCP/IP filtering.FTP: If Permit Only is selected for TCP Ports, click Add... and add ports 20 and 21.PTP/IP: If Permit Only is selected for UDP Ports, click Add... and add port 5353.8. Click OK.
