Do Nikon cameras comply with ISO 10330?The International Standards Organisation (ISO) has published a standard (ISO10330- 1992) describing characteristics of synchronisers, iginition circuits and connectors for cameras and photoflash units. This document may be found here http://www.iso.org/: (type 10330 in the search field) All current Nikon cameras that are equipped with a Hot Shoe flash bracket conform to this standard . Do not use flash equipment that uses negative or voltage over 250v with Nikon cameras, as this may damage circuitry within the camera.
