Why do scans from black and white film look bad?When you are scanning silver based black and white films, be sure to turn "Off" the Digital ICE3 in the Tool Palette. Digital ICE3 is designed to be used with dye-based films (i.e. C-41 or E-6 process films) and should not be used with silver based black and white films.
