The ML-L6 remote control is an optional accessory for the KeyMission 360 which uses Bluetooth communication with an operating distance of approximately 10 metres. It can be used to turn on the camera, record movies and take pictures. Before using the ML-L6 remote control for the first time, it must be paired with the camera using the SnapBridge 360/170 app. The instructions below describe basic connection and operation, for more detailed instructions refer to the KeyMission 360 Reference Manual pages 61-65.
1. To pair the Remote Control with the Camera
a. Launch SnapBridge 360/170 app on your smart device, and tap Camera > Remote options > Pair remote.
b. Check that the remote control is off, and then press and hold (for at least 3 seconds) the power button on the remote control.
After pairing, the camera cannot be operated by both the remote control and a smart device at the same time.
2. To switch from Smart Device and Remote Control
a. Launch SnapBridge 360/170 app on your smart device, and tap Camera > Remote options > Choose connection to camera and remote.
b. Turn on the remote control.
3. To switch from Remote Control to Smart Device
a. Turn on the camera and remote control, and then press and hold (for at least 3 seconds) the Fn button on the remote control.
b. Launch the SnapBridge 360/170 app on your smart device.
